"No-Burn" Campaign for Cleaner Air and Healthier Soil

Heartburn, sour burps, and acid reflux are clear signs of **Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)**, commonly known as acid reflux disease. GERD has become one of the most prevalent conditions globally, especially in Western countries, where the incidence rate is relatively high, averaging around 50-60%. In Thailand, working-age individuals are increasingly experiencing GERD, and the trend continues to rise. What exactly causes this condition, and are there effective treatments available?

ลำไส้รั่ว คือ ภาวะที่การดูดซึมของลำไส้ผิดปกติ โดยทั่วไปเซลล์เยื่อบุผนังลำไส้ลำไส้มีเรียงตัวชิดติดกันเป็นระเบียบ Tight Junctions (TJ) เกิดการอักเสบ เป็นผลให้การเรียงกันของเยื่อบุลำไส้มีการคลายออกจึงเกิดช่องวางระหว่างเซลล์ ทำให้สารต่าง ๆ เช่น สารพิษ เชื้อก่อโรค สิ่งแปลกปลอมสามารถแพร่ผ่านได้จนเข้าสู่กระแสเลือด เป็นผลทำให้เพิ่มโอกาสการติดเชื้อ การอักเสบมากขึ้นและนำไปสู่การเหนี่ยวนำให้เกิดโรคต่างๆ ตามมา เช่น โรคลำไส้อักเสบ (Inflammatory bowel disease: IBD) โรคลำไส้แปรปรวน (Bowel syndrome irritable liver disease: ILD) โรคไขมันพอกตับอักเสบ (Steatohepatitis) และ โรคตับแข็ง (Liver Cirrhosis)
